1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Mwalimu Ease ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Mwalimu Ease provides a multi-tenant school management system designed to assist Kenyan educational institutions with student registration, financial tracking, library management, and academic reporting.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during the setup process.

4. Teacher Swap & Safety

The Teacher Swap service is a peer-to-peer station matching tool. By using it, you agree to the following safety protocols:

• No Financial Transactions: Mwalimu Ease is 100% free. Any user asking for money, "processing fees", or M-Pesa transfers for station matches is committing a scam.
• Automated Monitoring: For your protection, our system scans messages for fraudulent keywords. Users flagged for suspicious activity or multiple scam-related warnings will be automatically suspended.
• Verification: You are responsible for verifying the professional identity of any user you communicate with. Mwalimu Ease does not provide official TSC services.
• Reporting: You agree to report any user who violates these safety standards using the "Report" feature in the chat.

5. Data Privacy & Security

While we implement industry-standard security measures, you acknowledge that no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for ensuring that the student and financial data you enter complies with local regulations, including the Kenya Data Protection Act.

5. Subscription & Payments

Free accounts are provided for trial and small-scale use with certain limitations (e.g., watermarks on reports). Pro features require a paid subscription. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Limitation of Liability

Mwalimu Ease shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or financial discrepancies.

7. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We may also update these terms from time to time.
